Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas. It is great to have Kimberly home!

After dinner we had our traditional Christmas Eve program - lots of music, scriptures, the reinactment of Luke 2, messages from Grandma & Grandpa, and the Cousin gift exchange game.

Abby and Joey Glenn played Mary and Joseph.

Everyone dressed up!

A self-timed family photo before going to bed! It is wonderful to all be together!

Christmas morning came bright and early!

Courtney loved her new robe and pink soccer ball!

Matthew in his new BYU apparel.

The girls are excited to go visit Kimberly in a few weeks!

It was a wonderful day, but the best part of it was visiting with Grandma & Grandpa on their mission. WE MISS THEM!

Thanksgiving

We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in AZ. It was so much fun to have Kimberly home!

ET planned a short program before dinner. We sang Prayer of Thanksgiving and then each family member named something for which they were thankful. These included family (parents, grandparents, spouses, children, cousins, brothers & sisters), health, temples, homes, good music, the gospel, technology, prayer, challenges, scriptures. The list could go on and on -- we are so blessed!

Robin & Natalie had to leave early for a soccer tournament, but they were able to eat a little Thanksgiving dinner before they left!

It was so fun to have Grandma Geri here - it has become a Thanksgiving tradition!

We spent the rest of the afternoon eating and visiting!

I think Thanksgiving is definitely one of our favorite holidays!

Alice in Wonderland

After months of practicing, the big day finally arrived! Courtney was thrilled to play the role of the Chesire Cat in Highland's production of Alice in Wonderland on Friday, November 5!

Courtney with other cute cast members!

She loved having Grandma Virginia and her cousins and sisters at the play!

Matthew saw the morning show at school, but missed the evening performance for his first scout camporee! We can't believe he will soon be turning 12!

Katie and Cassidy (Notice Katie's new look -- NO BRACES! She actually got them off last week, but has been quite ill with pneumonia, gratefully she is feeling much better!)

Everyone had a fun evening -- we were lucky to catch a quick photo of everyone before they headed out the door!

Oceanside, California

We spent a fun four days in Oceanside, CA for October break. Carie has wanted us to have a family beach trip for the last two years -- ever since she she spent a week with her friends here two summers ago.

It was fun having the beach almost to ourselves.

Courtney loved looking for shells.

We all missed Kimberly, but had fun anyway!

Carie, Matthew, and Courtney had fun looking for crabs.

They even made a jump rope out of sea weed!

Everyone had fun boogie boarding and trying to surf!

It was especially fun to spend an afternoon with the Estes family! The kids played in the waves, and built sand castles, and then we all had a late lunch at the harbor.

The weather was a little chilly for the beach, but by running to the hot tub every couple of hours, the kids managed to play at the beach all day!

It was a fun trip -- now everyone is hoping we can go again.

Courtney's Baptism

Courtney was baptized today!

She was so excited and looked beautiful.

She was baptized and confirmed by ET. Grandma Virginia and Grandpa Tom gave the talks and Courtney sang, "When I am Baptized."

It was wonderful to have so many family members and friends there to support her. It has been especially fun to have Kimberly home for this special occasion.
