Utah

We had a great trip to Utah!  The highlight was seeing Katie and Cassidy having so much fun together. (And I didn't even get any photos!)  As we were visiting with Katie Sunday evening, she said, "Not going to lie, I haven't missed you as much as I thought I would." She quickly added that it was just because she was always so busy, and that she really did miss us, but it made us happy that she is so happy!!

ET loved golfing with Matthew.  They teed off first thing Monday morning at Hobble Creek.  ET said he couldn't think of anything better than having the golf course to themselves in this beautiful canyon.

We spent the rest of the day with the Grobergs, Glenns, and Odidas.  We had lunch, played at Bridal Veil Falls, and then went bowling and out to dinner.

The next day we went to the 24th of July Parade in Salt Lake City. It was fun, but everyone agreed that we don't need to do it again.

On Wednesday we had fun in Park City and then did some school shopping at the outlets. We visited with the Snows that night and got to hear about Emily's fabulous trip to Europe.  Carie told us afterwards, "I think I might like to do something like that."

On Thursday morning we got up early and hiked Bald Mountain in the Unitas.  It was a hike that Grandpa Tom remembered and has often talked about.

It was a fun family hike - not too hard, but there is a great view at the end!

On Friday, we celebrated our 22nd Anniversary and Kimberly's 21st Birthday!
We enjoyed taking a bunch of her friends to dinner that night - we are grateful for wonderful friends!

We are now home and can't believe school starts in a week and a half!

Fourth of July

We enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather on the 4th of July.
It rained in the morning and cooled the weather to the mid 80s - so refreshing!

We swam,

ate,

and even did a few sparklers.
It was fun to have Grandma & Grandpa & the Glenns over.

Matthew is Back!

Matthew and ET left early Monday morning (June 18) for Camp Raymond.
ET came back that night after getting the boys settled, but Matthew spent the week camping out in a tent - hoping to get the camping merit badge.  (Unfortunately, he still has more campouts to do!)
He worked hard and had fun!

After one day of rest at home, he left again early Monday morning (June 25) for Prescott Basketball Camp.  He said this week went a lot faster - maybe because he had a bed, a shower, and an apartment full of good friends.  It was nice knowing that Bennett and Cash were there!

WE are glad he is home!
