Another Track Meet - Poston vs. Freemont - April 6, 2011

We enjoyed watching the Panthers run this afternoon at one of the last track meets of the season.

I brought my camera and actually took pictures this time.
Notice the expressions!


This is how Carie runs all of her races - with a big smile!

This afternoon she took first place in the 400 with a 1:07 (a personal best), tied for first in the high jump (it was her first time doing this event - Natalie's pointers seemed to help!)and her relay teams won first in the 4 X 800 and the 4 X 400.

Poston-Stapley Track Meet

We had a fun family get-together on March 30 at the Stapley Field! It was great to see these cousins compete!

Spring Break

We spent a fun spring break in Utah! It was great to see Kimberly.



We attended the baptism of Tiffany Odida in Salt Lake.



She looked beautiful!



Then we headed to Sundance and skiied with Steve and the Estes girls. It was a little bit crowded at first, but lots of fun!





We were able to ski a couple of days, meet up with the Glenns and Mesa friends at Soldier Hollow for some tubing, visit the Carl Bloch exhibit at BYU (which was fantastic!), spend time with the Estes and Snow families, and do a little shopping in Park City. It was extra fun to have Bennett Brown with us!

State Champs!

Carie left just before 6am this morning to compete in Phoenix at the State Pom and Cheer Championships.


Poston's team nailed their routine and won 1st place! All the girls were so excited!

Earlier this week Carie and Clark competed in the track meet and both won first place in their events!

Carie told me it was a great birthday week! (Even though we didn't have birthday cake until 10pm the day following her birthday and the icecream cake was toppling - it tasted good though!)

12 Years Old

Matthew received the Aaronic Priesthood and was ordained a deacon today by his Father. He looked so handsome!

It was great to have Grandpa and Grandma there.



We love Matthew!

New Glasses...

Courtney and Matthew got new glasses this week. It is great to be able to see clearly again!

Carie cheered at her last game! She is excited for track to start. She also won Poston's Miler of the Month.



Katie had fun learning to dance the SALSA with her Sadies group. Now they will have some new moves for the upcoming dance.

Martin Luther King Weekend

Katie, Carie, and Cassidy spent a fun weekend in Provo with Kimberly!

They had a blast just hanging out together and spending time with their cousins! They had dinner at the Snows and went iceskating with the Estes girls.




We missed them, but had fun here hiking at Lost Dutchman State Park and then going to the Mountain View/Mesa High game at ASU with the Clarks and Browns. Now its back to reality - and lots of HOMEWORK!
