Homecoming

Katie was thrilled to have the Junior float finished!

We were thrilled that it stayed together for the whole Homecoming parade!

It was fun to see Haley riding in the parade as Homecoming Royalty and extra fun to find out that she won Homecoming Queen!

Katie and Josh getting ready to go to the dance.

It was extra special to have both grandmas here!

September

September is turning out to be a busy month.

Courtney practices a minimum of 6 hours a week for the upcoming school play....Alice in Wonderland. She will play the part of the Chesire Cat.

Matthew practices basketball and football each week. He scored three touchdowns at his first game!

Carie stays busy with cheer.

And Katie is busy working on the Jr. Float. It is turning into a family affair.

Poston Football

Carie cheered at her first football game on September 2, 2010.
It's pretty fun when your cousin scores three touchdowns!

We are looking forward to watching Carie and Clark this year at Poston.

Mission Call

My parents received their mission call to Santiago, Chile. They leave in October. My Dad will serve as legal counsel for that area.

We took this family photo in July. It was great to all be together before they leave again. It seems like we just got them back!

Idaho

We headed up to Provo again in July to pick Carie up from EFY and Matthew up from soccer camp at BYU. Both had fun, but we sure missed them.

Kimberly got her things moved into Grandma and Grandpa's condo where she will be staying this next year and she celebrated her 19th birthday with a yummy dinner at the Mandarin in Bountiful and icecream cake later that night after a fun Pratt family reunion.

We then headed up to Idaho for a Groberg Family reunion at the cabin.

We couldn't pass Idaho Falls without a stop at Reed's Dairy - our family's favorite icecream!

Everyone had fun at the cabin -- roasting marshmellows, canoing, going to a play at West Yellowstone, hiking at Big Springs, horseback riding and just being together.

We accomplished a long time family goal this summer when we all made it to the top of Table Rock! We climbed the face - which is steeper, but shorter!

Courtney and Emily Glenn were first timers and were amazing. They never complained! Courtney at one point did say, "I feel like I'm walking a marathon."

Here is a picture of all the hikers looking out at the beautiful Grand Tetons. I don't know of a more spectacular view than from the top of Table Rock!

Aspen Grove

We spent a wonderful week at Aspen Grove with the Clark Family. The weather was beautiful and the scenery was magnificent! We enjoyed all the fun activities together.

Fishing

Rock Climbing

Lots of tennis

Swimming

And just hanging out with family.

The Grobergs came down for hike day and 5 of us attempted to hike to Emerald Lake. We knew that Timpanogus was still not open, but we thought we'd go as far as we could.

After loosing our footing and sliding down the second glacier, we decided to head back and enjoy the scenery and then take a quick hike over to Stewart Falls.

We all had so much fun! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a wonderful family vacation!
